An alternative lecture on money, technology, and society
The day before the Central Bank Governor of Norway, Ida Wolden Bache, delivers the traditional annual address at Bankplassen, the Bitcoin Policy Institute Norway (BPI) is hosting the first-ever Satoshi Nakamoto Annual Speech. Welcome to an alternative and forward-looking talk about Bitcoin and money in the broadest sense.
While the Central Bank’s annual speech has been a tradition for various elites for over a hundred years, we want to open the doors. Our event is free and open to everyone.
Thomas Eichenberger will deliver the inaugural Satoshi Nakamoto Annual Speech. Eichenberger is the Chief Strategy Officer at Switzerland’s Sygnum Bank, the world’s first crypto bank. Sygnum Bank is headquartered in Zurich with branches in Liechtenstein, Lugano, Singapore, and Abu Dhabi.
Who is this for? The event is tailored for both the curious and the expert: finance professionals, politicians, academics, Bitcoin enthusiasts, and the general public. We will conclude the evening with networking at the magnificent National Library.
